This summer we are trying something different with our scheduling. We are offering a limited summer schedule.
Our Mo, Tu, We, or Th classes at First St. Fitness are only 5 weeks long. This allows for a couple of options; you can sign up once a week for the 5 weeks, twice a week for 5 weeks (you will need to fill out two seperate registration forms), or our Fr, Sa, Su classes at First St. Fitness, as well as classes at Silver Lake and Pine Lake for the full 10 wks.
During this break the office staff will be looking at ways we can enhance our registration process and hopefully make it quicker and easier for everyone to use in the future.
For Fall 08 we will be allowing families that have taken just the Summer 08 session off to sign up at the same time as famillies in the Summer session.
OUR PHILOSOPHY We use a loving, child centered approach to teach basic swimming skills such as submersion, back float, kicking, reaching and breath control. Our aim is to empower parents by teaching them to progress at the child's pace using verbal cues, body language and positive feedback. Parents are the child's main teachers and role models so we emphasize the importance of their positive attitude and behavior.
